Details:
primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all financial aspects of the manufacturing operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization by implementing sound financial practices, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and execute financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization.
Financial Reporting:Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Communicate financial results to key stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
Cost Management:Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including direct labor, overhead, and material expenses.
Implement cost accounting strategies to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
Cash Flow Management:Manage working capital to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
Implement effective cash management practices and ensure adherence to financial policies.
Internal Controls and Compliance:Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Financial Systems and Processes:Oversee the implementation and enhancement of financial systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to integrate financial systems with manufacturing operations.
Strategic Planning:Collaborate with executive management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Provide financial insights to support long-term planning and decision-making.
Team Leadership:Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to ensure professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
