Job Description

CareBridge is looking for an experienced Multimedia Instructional Designer to research, design and develop activities leading to the initiation of instructor-led, web-based, eLearning, one-on-one and self-managed learning solution projects to include both new and on-going training. Plan, write, design, and develop multimedia training curricula, materials and programs. Partner at all levels of the organization and partners to obtain input and to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of all internal and external training materials.

Responsibilities:

Multimedia Production and Design:

• Produce and manage content using Adobe Creative Cloud, including videos, graphics (web and print), eLearning modules, and job aids
• Coordinate across departments on multimedia development initiatives
• Identify, manage and execute new associated technology
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key business partners and subject matter experts to ensure accurate content is included in the training and the expected deliverables.
• Design and develop training course material using instructional design techniques in conjunction with adult learning theory.
• Design templates and backgrounds for media and materials.
• Design training and job aids for instructor-led and online delivery.
• Assist in administration of the learning management system (LMS)

Develop:

• Write and edit eLearning course content, video scripts, assessments, and other instructional material
• Contribute to website and marketing content, as needed
• Develop training programs that are appropriate for targeted audiences and incorporates varied instructional design and delivery techniques.
• Gather and develop source content (including graphics, animated short clips, audio scripts, on-screen copy, video production and editing, including program storyboards, and assessments) to support program objectives; synthesize content from subject matter experts and existing materials.
• Produce learning materials, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks and related materials such as presentations, classroom activities, program evaluation tools and job aids that clearly communicate relevant information to both the participant and the facilitator.
• Develop project standards, processes, documentation, and/or templates as required to ensure quality of instructional material.

Plan and Implement:

• Maintain a current project plan while providing ongoing statuses to training manager and business partners.
• Coordinate the production and distribution of materials to trainers and other business partners.

Evaluate:

• Identify and develop appropriate performance measures, including but not limited to, criterion-referenced achievement tests, questionnaires, interviews, simulation scenarios, observation checklists, and performance checklists.
• Work with internal constituents to understand what on-going training is needed to ensure external users have the tools needed.
• Conduct QA and developmental reviews of eLearning courses and provide actionable feedback; react to and apply feedback received.
• Stay informed of latest healthcare industry trends, instructional strategies and content development techniques, tools and vendors.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:

• B.A. in relevant field, with a preference for multimedia design, instructional design or human performance technology.
• At least 5 years work experience in the area of instructional design.
• Experience with multi-media development (audio, video, and/or animation)
• Excellent writing and editing skills. Script writing experience.
• Proficiency in use of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Office 365 software
• Basic understanding of adult learning principles
• Familiarity with web design, HTML5, CSS, Javascript a plus
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and managers.
• Proven project management experience and the ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines.
