Description:
Outdoorsy physician/professor couple seeking a full time nanny to help care for their seven month old daughter. It is a requirement that candidates have at least 2 years of professional experience. It is also required that the candidate have the Tdap, Covid and Flu vaccine and is comfortable around dogs.The ideal candidate is conscientious, fun-loving, communicative and able to achieve a balance between being self-directed and developing activities/outings to do with child within the guidelines set by parents. It would be a huge bonus if the candidate spoke another language. Baby is high-energy and playful; the dog is mild mannered and equally happy hiking or napping in the sun.
Job duties include routine baby care, changing diapers, feedings, preparing babies food once onto solids, creating and maintaining a safe and loving environment for her to learn and grow, implementing age appropriate stimulating activities/outings, coordinating and following a provided nap schedule. Light household tasks will be expected during nap times.
The family is offering a guaranteed 40 hours per week at $24-$28/hour based on experience. The general schedule will be Monday 12:30pm-5:30PM, Tuesday 7:30am-5:30pm, Wednesday 6:30AM- 4:30pm, Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm and Friday 6:30am-11:30am. Benefits include 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays and paid sick leave. Position begins June 11th, 2024.
