Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85014
Start: July 15th, 2024
Schedule: The family is offering competitive benefits and a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the chosen candidate: 32 guaranteed hours per week with the potential for additional hours, competitive compensation, $35 per hour, flexible scheduling options, with 3-5 nights per week available based on candidate availability. The general/expected schedule will be: Sunday-Thursday nights from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Position commences on July 15.

Description:
A loving family based in Phoenix, AZ, is currently in search of a short-term highly skilled and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for their newborn daughter for a 2-3month duration. The chosen candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in newborn care and hold a valid Newborn Care Specialist certification. Additionally, candidates are required to have received the Tdap vaccine and demonstrate comfort in the presence of dogs.The primary responsibility of the Newborn Care Specialist will be to establish a nurturing and secure environment conducive to the development of the newborn daughter. This includes adhering to a provided feeding schedule and ensuring proper nutrition for the infant. The Specialist will also be responsible for diaper changes and implementing effective soothing techniques tailored to the individual needs of the newborn. Candidates will be expected to engage in age-appropriate stimulating activities during wake windows to foster cognitive and motor skill development as well as maintaining a safe sleep environment at all times. The Specialist will also be asked to undertake light household duties, including washing and sanitizing bottles, and upholding the organization and cleanliness of the nursery throughout the night.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in newborn care.
- Possession of a valid Newborn Care Specialist certification.
- Completion of the Tdap vaccine.
- Comfortable presence around dogs.
- Loving, punctual, and tidy demeanor with an innate understanding of newborns/infants.
- Organized and routine-oriented approach.
- Preferred: Vaccination against Covid and Flu.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
