We are a well-established Atlanta-based business seeking Full Stack Developer. FT permanent or hourly contract work will be considered. The candidate we’re seeking possesses advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in full stack development of web and mobile database-driven applications. S/He is eager to help our development team build and support applications which offer the foundation for our client work. These applications perform a variety of tasks, such as determining program eligibility, serving up a large catalogue of online training curriculum, managing regular payment invoicing and financial distributions, tracking and reporting key data indicators, and supporting annual financial/data/service provision audits.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide full stack development for assigned products/projects with a focus on secure web and mobile applications:
  • Front End: React, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, HTML, CSS, JSON
  • Middleware: IIS, MS Azure
  • Back End: MS SQL Server DB, MongoDB, including queries, stored procedures
• Support all phases of Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC):
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on gathered requirements; offer solutions for improvements and efficiencies
  • Prepare development plans based on functional specifications
  • Code secure web and mobile-friendly applications
  • Architect and develop complex SQL views, functions, stored procedures, and APIs for use in database-driven applications
  • Test and debug to meet functional requirements
  • Deploy code and database structures to production; modify database structures to support application enhancements
  • Support and maintain full stack to ensure quality deployments and maximum uptime/SLAs
  • Review and audit code to ensure quality and efficiencies
  • Annotate code, maintain technical documentation
  • Manage and track tasks, progress using Azure DevOps

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• Available for 40hrs/week, hybrid: onsite teamwork 2 days/wk in the North Perimeter area in Atlanta, GA and as needed for onsite meetings; remote work 3 days/wk
• Advanced knowledge of React, C#, HTML, CSS, DHTML, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax
• Expert in programming concepts, including relational database concepts, and event-driven task operating systems
• Ability to implement and maintain effective security measures and industry best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
• Works well in a team environment, yet is also self-directed
• Solutions architect; creative problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to provide accurate resource projections for deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, required
• 5 years work experience in a team-oriented environment, required
• 5 years full stack experience with MS SQL Server or MongoDB required, including full SDLC of an enterprise-wide, web-based application, experience managing deployments, required
• 5 years JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, CSS, JSON experience, required
• 2 years React experience, required
• Must pass a Georgia background fingerprinting check
