Position Summary

Cardiovascular Health Clinic is a fast-paced, growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Rhythm specialist. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask. As a Rhythm Specialist, you will prepare patients for their healthcare visit, by getting them set on monitors and reporting accurate data.

Essential Functions of the Role:

• Performs a variety of Pacemaker function procedures as ordered by the physician, utilizing established standard operating procedures.
• The Rhythm Specialist is responsible for coordinating the workflow of cardiac monitor devices, pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices.
• This person is responsible for monitoring and reviewing cardiac rhythms in person as well as for remote transmissions from multiple vendors/manufacturer web-based systems.
• This includes interpretation of device measurements, interpretation of complex arrhythmias, analyze data that reflects clinical scenarios, and retrieval and triage of that information.
• The information is compiled and summarized as a report for entry to the electronic medical record ensuring physician evaluation with appropriate billing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• BCLS Certification

Desired Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field

• Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in a Pacemaker laboratory or completion of a cardiac device training program

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Deadline and detail-oriented
