Job Description : We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Barista with basic prep cook skills.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, crafting delicious sandwiches, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and more, adhering to quality standards and recipes.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area.
- Prepare ingredients for sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Assemble sandwiches and basic prep food items with attention to presentation and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation and serving areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and following food safety procedures.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
- Opening and setup space for the day
Requirements :
- Prior experience working as a barista and / or sandwich prep cook preferred. Wine knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
