Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced Maintenance Tech for a established automotive supplier client located in Shelby Township, MI.

The Maintenance Tech will ensure that equipment and machinery are working at optimal efficiency to produce and manufacture products safely and on time.

This position will perform electrical and mechanical duties which involve replacing, repairing, and cleaning hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and / or component parts.

This position will entail standing for long periods of time during shift.

Candidates preferably should have your own tools available*

Available shift is 1st shift - 7am - 330pm. OT as needed.

Responsibilities of the Industrial Machine Mechanic :

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair all production equipment as needed.
• Comply with safety, OSHA, and audit standards.

Preferred Qualifications of the Industrial Machine Mechanic :

• 2 years’ experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Previous mechanic or machine maintenance experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong mechanical background and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills.
