Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School is Hiring a Math Teacher Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has an opening for a qualified Mathematics Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Mathematics. The High School Mathematics Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
  • Three (3) years or more of experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and have demonstrated ability to engage students.
  • Presentation skills and knowledge with use of instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom.
  • Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
  • Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
  • Exemplify professionalism in behavior and performance.
