Car Craft Auto Body is Hiring a Parts Assistant Near Chesterfield, MO
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
o When order is received, verify correctness.
- Accountable for documenting activity within the department.
o Mark and store all received parts with proper repair order number.
o Maintain inventory records on all small parts and specialty items.
o Upon completion of vehicle repair, return unnecessary parts for credit.
- Accountable for communicating with Parts Manager, Production Manager and technicians
o Upon receipt of correct parts, advise Parts Manager so that vehicle can be scheduled and communication with customer can occur.
o Issue parts to proper technician.
- Responsible for materials and safety management.
o Maintain the safekeeping of all shop specialty tools and dispense as needed.
o Maintain a safe and clean environment that reflects the working conditions of the Company.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a purchasing and inventorying capacity, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Functional / Technical Knowledge:
o Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) – BEGINNER
§ Skills & Abilities Requirements:
o Work independently without close supervision.
o Flexible / adaptable to constant change.
o Highly organized; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
o Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work under own initiative.
o Negotiating skills.
o Strong communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
§ Physical Requirements:
o Keyboarding
o General Physical Skills (Carrying, Lifting – 100 lbs, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Reaching)
o Driving, must have valid DL
§ On-The-Job Exposure to the following elements:

o Dirt
o Chemicals / Toxins
o Heat / cold
o Noise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
