Journeyman Body Technician

$70,000-$200,000 annually

Shift & Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, Flexible Work Hours

Job Duties

• Repair vehicles to pre-accident condition following manufacturer set guidelines and procedures.
• Perform all straightening, door, hood and deck alignments
• Diagnose & troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Weld and solder as needed
• Repair damaged body panels
• Maintain and clean and safe work area

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a body technician in a collision shop
• Proficient using power tools and welding techniques for automotive repair
• I-Car & ASE certifications preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain the proper tools required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
• Must be able to read and understand written estimates and work orders
• Ability to perform the physical requirements such as lifting objects over 50 pounds, kneeling, bending and squatting
