Thriving CPA firm located on the Northshore is currently seeking an experienced Part or Full- Time Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Full charge bookkeeping: monthly, quarterly and/or annually for our clients
• Communicate with clients on a regular basis
• Process weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual tax filings (including sales / meal tax, quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, various 1099 forms, etc.)
• Prepare reconciliations (i.e., bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.)
• Prepare payroll for clients
• Prepare financial statements
• Assist in establishing, documenting, and evaluating internal processes for the best client experience
• Whatever is required to provide high level service to our clients

Qualifications:

• 3 years previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• Experience with QuickBooks (3 years preferred)
• Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong organizational and accuracy skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
