We are currently hiring a Machine Operator (CNC) for our Bedford, PA Manufacturing Facility. Join us if you are interested in working in a fast paced, financially sound manufacturing environment. Our company offers great benefits including monthly bonus.

Note: Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required

Schedule: We are hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift:

  • Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm - 6:00am
  • Overtime required

We are looking for:

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
  • Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
  • Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
  • Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
  • Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
  • Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail, safety and quality
  • Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial
  • Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
  • Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
  • Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
  • Capable of lifting 100 lbs. and standing for long periods
  • Physical stamina and strength
  • This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position. Employees in this position are subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with CaptiveAire's Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
