Captain Dental is Hiring a Dental Office Receptionist Near Santa Clara, CA

We currently have an opening for a Dental Receptionist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented receptionist to work with a fun and outgoing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a dental setting and will be able to prioritize incoming requests in order to best serve patients. We're looking for individuals who enjoy working with patients and who can multitask effectively in response to changing demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Patients: Welcoming patients into the office, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Managing the dentist's schedule, booking appointments, and sending appointment reminders.
  • Patient Records Management: Maintaining patient records, ensuring their accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handling Phone Calls: Answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and managing communication with dental professionals.
  • Billing and Payment Processing: Handling billing, processing payments, and dealing with insurance claims.
  • Office Administration: Ordering dental supplies, maintaining office cleanliness, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
  • Patient Communication: Providing information on dental procedures, pre-appointment instructions, and post-treatment care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
