About the Role

The Pharmacy Operations Associate plays a hybrid role, combining pharmacy tech tasks with logistics duties. You will handle prescription packaging, patient shipments, and support delivery couriers while assisting with prescription data entry and issue resolution.

• Efficiently process prescriptions, ensuring compliance with state regulations and prescription accuracy.

• Utilize various computer systems for prescription entry, label production, and safe product packaging.

• Perform quality assurance, outreach for contraindications, and address third-party rejections.

• Handle manual prescription orders, from verification to packaging, for timely delivery.

• Assist logistics team by addressing courier calls, monitoring order fulfillment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and issue resolution.

Requirements:

• You have a High School Diploma / GED and have 1 years of prior experience in counting/packing medications

• You must be a registered technician within the State of employment

• You are proficient with a computer and Windows PC applications and are able to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications

• You are familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand and generic names of medications)

• Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes and stand for long periods of time
