Job Summary
The Sales Assistant position is responsible for supporting a wide range of sales activities to help facilitate efficient operation of the Sales Department. This position is for a highly motivated, energetic person who works well in a small group where close collaboration and to accept multiple responsibilities are essentials. This is a 4-10 shift schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
| 1. | Reports, follows directions, and provides limited executive assistant duties to the Sales Manager as assigned. |
| 2. | Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls. |
| 3. | Enter customer orders into CPG software system. |
| 4. | Invoice customer orders upon shipping |
| 5. | Process dealer and credit applications |
| 6. | Set up new accounts into CPG software system. |
| 7. | Assist in collection communication for past due accounts. |
| 8. | Receive and direct visitors and clients. |
| 9. | Prepare written responses to routine enquiries. |
| 10. | Prepare, modify, and proof documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails. |
| 11. | Performs any/all other directives assigned by senior management. |
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and written/oral communication skills
· Must be able to work the hours required to meet deadlines
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
· Must have a proven ability to prioritize workload and dynamically problem solve is a must in this position
· Must have strong intrapersonal, teamwork, telephone, and customer service skills
· MS Office Suite proficiency and excellent writing and editing skills required
· Must be knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
· Well organized and high attention to detail
