Job Description
Project Manager

Position Overview
The successful candidate must possess the requisite education and experience that will permit them to oversee a staff during the construction process and collaborate with senior executives within the company. The successful candidate must possess the interpersonal skills that will allow them to collaborate with owner’s designers, suppliers, and vendors .

Primary responsibilities

  • Oversee the staff with the day-to-day operational aspects of a project.
  • The ability to make decisions that consider both schedule and budgets.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Formulate and executes project schedule.
  • Administer document control procedures for all construction related documents.
  • Manages the scope review process
  • Various tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight (8) years construction management experience
  • A mature professional with excellent judgment and intuitive interpersonal skills.
  • Construction/field experience and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal.
  • A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Applications.

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of time on a computer
  • Extended periods of time sitting
  • Bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Possible exposure to hazardous materials
  • Possible exposure to inclement weather
  • Occasional overtime/weekends may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
