Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and safety. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities. Assess patient health conditions, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, including assessments, treatments, medications, and progress notes. Maintain electronic health records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Report and communicate patient conditions and changes to the healthcare team.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques. Provide guidance on disease prevention, health promotion, and lifestyle modifications. Ensure patients are equipped with necessary information to manage their healthcare effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals to promote seamless healthcare delivery.
  • Adherence to Standards: Adhere to nursing standards, policies, and procedures, as well as regulatory and accreditation requirements. Maintain infection control measures, medication safety protocols, and patient safety initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in nursing practice.
  • Emergency Response: Respond efficiently and effectively during emergency situations, following established protocols and initiating appropriate interventions. Provide immediate care and support to patients in critical conditions.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing patient outcomes. Identify areas for improvement in nursing practice, patient care processes, and workflows. Contribute to evidence-based practice and nursing research activities.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development by attending educational programs, conferences, and workshops. Stay updated on advancements in nursing practice, technology, and healthcare regulations. Maintain a current and active nursing license.
Requirements:
  • Valid Nursing License : Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Education : Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Higher qualifications, such as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), may be preferred for specialized roles.
  • Clinical Competence : Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures. Ability to provide competent and compassionate patient care.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Active listening skills and empathy are essential.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions, identify problems, and develop appropriate nursing interventions. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
