Title: Accounting Technician
Location: Chapel Hill, NC 27514 (Hybrid)
Duration: 5 Months
Job Description:
The client is seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to our client by efficiently processing vouchers, managing Pcard reconciliations, handling deposits, and assisting with other administrative support as needed. Attention to detail and customer services are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process vouchers accurately and in a timely manner.
Conduct Pcard reconciliations and ensure compliance with the State, University, and Customer Policies.
Manage deposit procedures efficiently.
Assist Travel process as needed.
Issue student emergency fund.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail.
Previous experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
PeopleSoft and ConnectCarolina experience.
Higher Ed experience.
