Ana Grace Academy of the Arts Elementary Magnet CREC Ana Grace Academy of the Arts Elementary School is seeking a Building Substitute.

This position is for the academic school year.
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Building Substitute teacher will facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student outcomes addressing specific educational needs of individual students by creating a flexible, safe and culturally responsive learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals as determined by the superintendent of school.
The Substitute will have some knowledge of current teaching methods, be able to communicate effectively and maintain collaborative working relationships with others in the hopes of making a difference in the education of our students. The hours are from 8:30 AM until 3:45 PM.
Bachelor's degree required. CT Certification preferred. Experience in an elementary setting also preferred.
