The Receiving Office Lead will assist in the receiving of all incoming freight and assuring product is tagged and put in proper location. Make sure proper rotation of product is completed on a daily basis. The Day Receiving Lead is also responsible for following company policies & procedures and safety & security standards as well as ensuring they are in compliance with operational standards. Maintain professional relations with Facilities and Day Operations Supervisor, Capitol City Produce Staff, subordinates, peers and vendors.
REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of receiving experience in a warehouse setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or Google Office Suite (Sheets, Docs etc)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to direct and work closely within a team environment.
• Ability to organize work flow and manage the receiving team.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

• Oversee receivers, unloaders, forklift personnel and organize workflow daily.
• Primary backup for the office lead position
• Backup the repack lead
• Generate production reports to ensure the team is meeting productivity expectations
• Ensure all products are received correctly, properly labeled and placed into storage.
• Work with QC team to ensure all products received meets company quality standards.
• Follow up with the quality assurance team to ensure that any product having quality issues is reported, properly documented, and submitted to the procurement department with photographs.
• Ensure that all coolers and pick slots are replenished daily and all shelves are straight and organized.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment to meet set Company safety policies.
• Ensure that all work activities are performed with the highest standards regarding food safety and providing feedback for continuous process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify receiving documents for accuracy.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed during the receiving process (from driver to receiver to driver).
• Purchase order and b.o.l quantities match.
• Print receiving tags
• Research, resolve and communicate receiving discrepancies via email to appropriate departments.
• Maintain office supplies for the receiving office.
• Input repack productivity into performance tracker (daily).
• Email p.o's not received list to procurement and receiving team prior to end of shift.
• Email the shipping team on any purchase order to be received during shipping.
• Print slot and reserve tags for inventory control.
• Input data into purchase order tracker (daily).
• Schedule inbound appointments.
• Communicate purchase order discrepancies to procurement prior to releasing the
• Complete and email daily receiving report when applicable.
• Track and report late deliveries.
• Compile a list of purchase orders scheduled and not received, and email results to operations and procurement departments.
• Perform other clerical related duties as needed or assigned driver.
