Capital Tape is Hiring an Office Coordinator Near Cleveland, OH

Capital Tape Company is a family-owned, Cleveland based company looking for an experienced Office Coordinator to join our team. We are a pressure sensitive adhesive converter that supplies and distributes glazing tapes throughout the US. Our product line includes PVC foam, urethanes, polyethylene foam, solid acrylic and much more.

The Office Assistant/Customer Service Representative maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Additionally, handles all incoming calls when able, monitors sales email inbox, acknowledge and confirm customer orders, process all customer purchase orders and respond to all customer inquiries promptly.

Responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Lead, manage and direct customer service activities
  • Prepare bank deposits, verifying receipts, prepare customer invoices
  • Updating and maintaining accounting software (Sage)
  • Process Customer Payments (Deposits, cash application)
  • Handle accounts receivable
  • Manage accounts payable, including entering and processing vendor invoices in accounting system
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Inventory management
  • Miscellaneous reporting & analyses including cost analyses, vendor costing
  • Ensure effective processes are in place to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitor expected ship dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed. Communicate with internal staff and external customers on any deviations to schedules ship date.
  • Inventory management, including assisting in performing monthly Inventory

Qualifications:

  • High school degree (mandatory)
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business/Management

  • Ability to multi‐task and shift priorities to meet the needs of the sales department and our customers.

  • Excellent phone and email communications regarding vendor, customers, and other key business partners
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain general knowledge of our products and industry.

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 4:30PM)
