Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack

We are seeking Customer Reliability Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with solutions.
What You'll Do:

• Collaborate and consult teams across the enterprise to improve the reliability of their systems and practices
• Leverage data to build and deliver automated advice for teams on possible improvements
• Prototype potential solutions to critical business problems impacting the wider enterprise
• Investigate long running production issues in Capital One systems and propose solutions
• Influence Capital One culture to be in alignment with the Enterprise strategy on Reliability

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
• 3 years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• 3 years of experience with large databases and data analytics
• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts such as SLOs
