As a Scheduler, your focus is to develop, detail, expand and maintain project schedules for multiple projects. If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our team and provide logistics, scheduling related technical support and lead project schedules to assigned projects for planning, procurement, development, construction, and maintenance activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Ability to conduct constructability reviews for varying construction methods/techniques during design or construction.
• Work directly with the project management team to coordinate the development and ongoing management of all aspects of the schedule with project supervision, owners, and subcontractors/vendors.
• Build and manage a baseline schedule using Critical Path Method (CPM) best practices including the WBS to detail out the areas and types of work.
• Create, maintain, and edit different layouts in Primavera P6 – update schedules efficiently, analyze the critical path to specific activities.
• Quickly and efficiently identify variance from previous baselines.
• Filter work by various trades, time frames or areas to create custom reports for the team to utilize in their day-to-day activities.
• Create impact analysis reports using historical data captured from the CPM tool being utilized on site as well as work with project teams to help develop mitigation plans where needed.
• Use excel to analyze large data sets and multiple schedules at once.
• Interface with project controls, clients and stakeholders and address their concerns/requests.
• Resource load baseline schedules to track earned value metrics as determined by the client or Project Management team.
• Maintain and update a resource loaded schedule to keep cost and durations accurate.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
• Attend and run weekly meetings to update the construction schedule via job walks and/or safety live updates.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of the Construction process to be able to identify and discuss upcoming potential issues and suggest mitigations.
• Can work with minimal supervision while having outstanding communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and time management skills.
• Coordinate the development and ongoing management of all aspects of the schedule with project supervision, owners, and subcontractors/vendors.
• Candidate should be highly experienced in Primavera P6 and proficient in Microsoft Project.
• Ability to juggle demands from multiple project teams effectively – setting appropriate priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing realistic expectations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 2-5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software a plus.
• Experience with the Construction (Aviation/Transportation), Architecture and Engineering industry.
