As a Product Analyst , you'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver experiences that delight our internal customers and drive business efficiencies through custom-built software. Our team is known for its agile approach, fast-paced environment, and commitment to delivering top-notch solutions to support the Studio in title planning, content creation, marketing, and distribution. StudioONE Context / Summary: StudioONE is our team’s suite of branded applications that support the Studio. Our vision for StudioONE is to be the ‘one-stop-shop’ for all Disney Studios business operations, ensuring that all content produced by the Studio is on-time and on-budget. Role Overview: We're seeking a self-driven Product Analyst to collaborate closely with the Product Manager and engineering team in building out a brand new module that supports the Studio Legal Team in aggregating and distributing Talent contract data to dependent studio teams. Your role will involve synthesis of complex requirements, backlog management, story-writing and close collaboration with our amazing engineering team.
What You'll Do : Key Product Objectives: The Legal module is a new product within the StudioONE ecosystem that supports the Studio Legal team in aggregating and sharing each title’s talent contract data to dependent studio teams. The app is replacing a currently completely manual and offline process. A) Provide secure, parsed digitization of the talent contract data B) Completely automate the initial distribution and subsequent update of this data out to dependent teams via completely custom dynamic UIs, reports, automated emails, and more C) Ultimately eliminate duplicative inputs and report creation of this data D) Act as a repository for all historical talent contract data enabling our users to efficiently query and compare specific subsets of data Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
● Writing clear, concise user stories and leading refinement sessions alongside our project manager
● Build, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog according to business priorities and values
● Collaborating with our engineering team in solutioning, sharing out relevant business context, and providing any ongoing requirement clarification
● Collaborating with UI/UX designers to ensure intuitive user experiences
● Daily communication with product and project managers from other StudioONE modules to identify roadmap dependencies - particularly surrounding our shared components library
● Champion innovation by identifying product enhancement opportunities and translating strategic vision into actionable deliverables.
Basic Qualifications
● Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and become an expert on their goals, pain points, and processes
● Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, gaining a deep understanding of business processes.
● Support the Product Manager in stakeholder communications and deployment planning
● Act as the voice of the customer in meetings with cross-functional technology teams and through meticulous documentation.
● A self-starter who is proactive and comfortable with ambiguity.
● Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
● Proven experience in business analysis, product ownership, or similar role.
● Prior experience writing user stories, product documents, and/or business requirements.
● Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
● Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in fast-paced environments.
● A positive attitude with leadership and facilitation skills to successfully deliver new products and/or features.
● Attention to detail, particularly in written requirements and stakeholder communications.
● Familiarity with product management principles and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience in media/filmmaking domains is a plus
