VP of Finance – Capital Fund 1

Capital Fund I, a leader in the real estate financing industry, specializes in providing short-term, asset-based debt on investment real estate across various states, including Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee.

With a track record of over $4 Billion in hard/private money loans since 2009, Capital Fund I offers competitive bridge, acquisition, and construction loan programs for land, residential, and commercial real estate investments. As we continue to expand and evolve, we're seeking an accomplished VP of Finance to lead our financial strategy and drive our company's growth to new heights.

Responsibilities

Accounting

  • Act as the primary manager of the Accounting department, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting at the end of each month, facilitating the disbursement of funds to investors by the 10th of the following month.
  • Take ownership of all Accounting projects, from inception to completion, and ensure they are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Serve as the final authority on all matters related to the Accounting department, assuming ultimate responsibility for its performance and outcomes.

Investor Relations

  • Lead the development and growth of the Investor Relations department, establishing administrative and fundraising processes that align with company objectives.
  • Work closely with the COO and other senior leadership to execute fundraising strategies and initiatives, with a focus on both retaining existing investors and attracting new ones.
  • Monitor and analyze investor feedback and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and enhance the company's competitiveness and attractiveness to investors.
  • Ensure the Member Monthly Statement is delivered to the CF2 investors by the 10th of the month and CFDF monthly reporting is delivered to the CFDF investors by the 20th of the month.

Finance

  • Lead the development and execution of long-term financial strategies to support the company’s business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to outline strategic priorities, align financial resources accordingly, and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Analyze financial data and reports, providing insights and recommendations to the Partners.
  • Manage the company’s capital sourcing decisions, evaluating risks and returns to ensure optimal allocation of resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in financial leadership roles, with extensive experience in accounting and investor relations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of capital markets, including securities, investor relations, and capital markets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.

Compensation

  • Competitive Base Pay: Approx. $150,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
  • Compensation Package: Base Salary Performance Based Incentives
