Job description:

The Global Analyst Relations manager is responsible for managing, anchoring, and enhancing strong relationship and intimacy with targeted industry analysts and advisors. You will focus on strategically positioning Capgemini as a business, technology, and digital services partner focused on client value creation.

As a domain leader, you’ll help develop our end-to-end story to articulate the value of Capgemini to the market. You’ll increase the awareness of Capgemini value proposition through value creation. You’ll be expected to propose new ideas and find ways to build deeper relationships, to better create and tell our stories and vision, to design experiential formats so the analysts see and feel the experience our clients get (eg. site visits across the world, client discussions and demos, pre-briefings under NDA).

This role requires strong collaboration skills and ability to work with various levels of the organization: Group executives, senior business leadership across Industries, Portfolio, Practices, and regional Business units. You’ll also need to work closely with Industry Teams, Media Relations and Marketing Leaders who will partner as content experts providing inputs and key messages that drive engagement with analysts and advisors. Your key strengths are relationship building, influencing, storytelling and ability to operate in a large global organization across senior stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting to the global head of analyst and advisor relations, the role involves taking responsibility for multiple domains with regards to analyst relations – e.g. cloud, cybersecurity, intelligent industry, etc
  • Manage relationships with Analyst and Advisor firms, treating them as client accounts and relationships: develop a comprehensive mapping as to who our key clients trust the most, select targeted analysts, create annual “account” plan per analyst while developing proactive connections
  • Ensure the timely completion of analyst briefings and survey requests for your domains, tracking the evolving publication calendars and timelines
  • Generate coverage for Capgemini that is accurate, positive, and reflects the best overall positioning in the market, telling the end-to-end story of Capgemini to the market
  • Proactively managing industry analyst responses to secure leading positions in relevant analyst reports (e.g. Gartner, IDC) and ensuring the accuracy of analyst published information
  • Ensure that analysts are getting the engagement and information required and that they understand Capgemini’s offerings and differentiation
  • Track the evolution of the relevant analyst community with attention to medium- and long-term changes to evolve the coverage and engagement to match
  • Protect Capgemini’s brand and reputation, mitigate negative coverage, escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Assist the Sales and Account Based Marketing teams to manage analyst impact in business opportunities and support with insights as well as advisory from analysts
  • Measure outcomes: analyst & advisor perception, proactive outreach, relationship metrics, reports, rankings

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable experience in analyst relations or related fields (e.g. investor relations, account management) with deep relationship management skills
  • Proactiveness and outstanding communication (written and verbal), the ability to energize and mobilize teams across a global organization
  • Experience in working in large, global companies – maturity and effectiveness in managing executive stakeholders, navigating, and driving action in a matrixed organization where influence is important
  • High degree of attention to details with the ability to manage delivery of simultaneous deadline dependent projects
  • Comfortable taking inputs from a variety of sources to develop an overarching narrative and submitting via a variety of information submission mediums (Proprietary analyst portals, Dynamic Excel spreadsheets, Long form PDFs)
  • Able to provide event planning support for in person analyst meetings (Gathering content, General meeting logistics, Analyst and executive interactions)

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
