Capeside Oral and Facial Surgery is Hiring an Oral Surgery Assistant Near Hyannis, MA

Our busy practice is looking for motivated, energetic, and career focused individual to join our growing team at Capeside Oral and Facial Surgery in both offices Hyannis & Falmouth. We provide quality care to patients with a focus on developing lasting, trusted relationships between patients and staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and perform pre-surgical preparations
  • Assist the oral surgeon during surgery, providing suction, monitoring instruments, and swapping tools as necessary
  • Provide post-operative instruction to patients regarding healing and care
  • Operate x-ray equipment (once licensed)
  • Disinfect, sterilize, and store equipment after use

Requirements include:

  • Prior dental assisting experience, preferred in an oral surgery environment (Dental Assisting License and Radiology Certification) PREFERRED, but we will train the right person if committed.
  • All relevant state licensure
  • CPR and X-ray certification
  • Strong communications skills
  • Consistent professionalism in appearance and attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
