Department: Procurement/Uniforms

Position: Procurement & Uniforms Assistant

Reports To: Procurement Manager/Buyer

Position Overview: Primary responsibilities are to support the procurement team in all aspects of the department including receiving, stocking, and tracking of retail merchandise. Responsibilities also include distributing, tracking, and maintaining inventory of employee uniforms. Must uphold and execute brand integrity throughout all duties.

These duties may be described as, but not limited to:

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory stock levels in the warehouse. Report merchandise needs to manager in a timely manner.
  • Fulfill inventory requests from the outlet store on a weekly basis off season and daily on season or as needed.
  • Transfer all merchandise between warehouse and outlet in the inventory management system.
  • Maintain the orderly and clean condition of the warehouse and receiving area.
  • Receive and check-in incoming merchandise.
  • Assist with pricing and tagging retail merchandise. 
  • Assist with inventory on a quarterly basis.
  • Receive uniform shipments into the inventory program, update quantities of the received uniform pieces and store in the appropriate location. Additionally, sort returned uniforms and work with laundry service on pick up and drop off times.
  • Complete a Uniform Distribution form and issue new uniforms to employees.
  • Maintain the Uniform Distribution notebook as well as the Uniform Inventory Management program.
  • Monitor uniform supply levels, re-stock all supplies and advise purchasing manager of uniform needs in a timely manner.
  •  Monitor and maintain the orderly and clean condition of the uniform room.
  • Assist with UPS shipping and receiving activities. 
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possesses exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects daily. 
  • Must be physically able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs and climb a ladder. 
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Take directions and follow through. 
  • Must be able to complete projects with deadlines.
  • Perform job functions without constant direct supervision.
  • Drivers’ license required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Office experience required. Must be able to multi-task.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Cape Resorts Group standards.
