Cape Electrical Supply LLC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Make a difference. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will perform various duties in a branch location to ensure all customers receive technical assistance, proper merchandise, and excellent customer service, primarily over the telephone or internet. In this role you will: Assist customers entering into or calling the store with respect to technical support, locating material, and handling all aspects of the order generation. Assist the Branch Manager in providing support to outside sales staff, generating and entering quotes, expediting purchase orders, working sales calling queues, generating and entering customer sales orders. Download and compile spec sheets for project business and day to day product clarification. Assist in maintaining cleanliness within the branch. Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories. Calls on and creates relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business. Provides ongoing customer and technical service on existing accounts. May conduct on-site visit to customers. What you bring to the table: High School Diploma or Associates Degree Strong working knowledge of MS Office Products. (MS Excel is a must) Strong internet navigation knowledge High aptitude in business math. Basic percentage calculations etc. Positive attitude and high energy level 1-2 years sales experience preferred Experience in an electrical contractor, rep agency, or distribution company preferred Good time management and problem-solving skills Strong customer service skills Desire to learn and grow in your career Work shift and hours: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Compensation Details: The expected pay rate for this position is $18-21/hour depending on experience.
