Answer incoming and make outbound calls
Requesting Referrals from PCP and/or Insurance Companies
Scanning
Verify the referral status for each HMO patient
Verify insurance eligibility and follow up as needed
Input referral into ECW and link to appropriate upcoming appointments
Address emails
Inputting new insurance information
Communicating with patients to obtain coverage information and resolving insurance issues with patients
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate
Experience with Medical Terminology, Medical Referrals and Eligibility, Computer Skills
Physical Requirements:
Sitting for extended period of time
