For one of our ongoing Multiyear project we are looking for SRE DevOps Telemetry engineer.
Telemetry engineer will design and code critical software components on the telemetry platform Candidate will work with Cloud application and Infrastructure teams to build highly Resilient application on AWS Azure GPS for telemetry platform
Candidate will Interact with Application Engineers and Product owners to define Journey specific SLO for all Critical End User Journeys and identify the critical metrics of the telemetry required to design and build to provide the KPIs for the SLOs
Candidate will be responsible for strategizing Integrating existing Monitoring and Logging Solutions to provide a single pane of view for developers and SRE teams and pulling the telemetry from host environments
Candidate must have hands on experience Application Performance Managing Real User Monitoring infrastructure monitoring and log analysis tool such as Dynatrace Nagios Sensu and Splunk Dynatrace Experience is preferred
Candidate should also have experience on Azure platform and products and experience in telemetry using Azure App Insights
Responsibilities
Implement the right level of Telemetry for Log collection Log Analysis and automate them into Actionable Insights Design and code critical software components on the telemetry platform Work with Cloud Application and Infrastructure team to build Highly Resilient applications on Azure for telemetry platform
Develop solution to implement the SLO SLI requirement using APM tools Interact with Application Engineers and Product owners to define Journey specific SLO for all Critical End User Journeys Write code within the monitoring solution
Strategize Integrate Existing Monitoring and Logging Solutions to provide a single pane of view for developers and SRE teams
Collaborate with other development teams quality engineering team and documentation team to execute on product deliverables
Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues
Skills and Experience
Requirements 5 years of hands on experience with cloud based technologies and tools in configuration management deployment monitoring and operations
Experience in deriving insights from Telemetry data generated from user interactions and dependent systems preferably using App Insights
Be Passionate about building tools solutions that helps Site reliability and Application Engineers Candidate must have hands on experience in Application Monitoring tools App Dynamics Dynatrace Splunk ELK Sumo Logic and experience in Application Performance Managing Real User Monitoring infrastructure monitoring and log analysis tool such as Dynatrace Nagios Sensu MoogSoft and Splunk Dynatrace Experience is preferred
5 yrs of experience with DevOps Continuous Delivery Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
Experience in an Agile delivery environment Experience as a hands on software engineer so you understand the core principles of the engineering work
Experience supporting customer problems and communication Experience or interest in speaking presenting at tech conferences
Experience in communication and organization in large distributed teams Hands on experience with AWS or Azure
