GENERAL LABORER – SUMMER SEASONAL

The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts

Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Summer Labor: May 1st - October 1st

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Position Overview:

Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking General Laborers to join our team for the Summer. This opportunity allows for an introduction in to manufacturing, a summer job, and a path to a full-time career.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Forklift and/or Bobcat operation
• Painting
• Cleaning
• Stocking supplies
• Use of power tools
• Lifting and moving supplies and equipment up to 75 lbs.
• May assist in light production activities as needed
• Other General Labor duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Canton Drop Forge is a Drug-Free Workplace. Must be willing to undergo and pass a drug test if hired - including hair follicle testing.

Desired Requirements:

• 18-years-of-age minimum
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and stand frequently throughout shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lb. repeatedly throughout shift
