2^nd Shift - Production Coordinator

Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 3:20 PM – 1:20 AM

This role will need to train on first shift: 5:20 AM – 3:20 PM prior to migrating to second shift.

Pay Rate: $19-24 per hour, Salaried Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking a 2^nd Shift Production Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document incentive-based work records for production teams.
• Coordinate departmental attendance reports and work records between supervision and payroll.
• Update and maintain various production-related documents, using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Prepare pre-shift documents for union employees as applicable.
• Assist in the coordination of shop scheduling, staging, and equipment coordination.
• Provide general administrative support to the production department.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the industrial manufacturing plant for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access files, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to work within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in with administration and department coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and professionalism to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
