Job Overview:

In the role of Senior People & Culture Business Partner at Canto, you're poised to make a substantial impact. Your mission is to build and create—establishing our People & Culture Business Partner capability and ensuring our team members are heard, seen, and valued. Collaborating closely across our teams, you’ll design programs that enhance a culture of continuous feedback, enable leaders with actionable insights, and foster continuous growth and development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to our leaders, aligning People & Culture strategies with meeting functional and company objectives.
  • Own and develop the performance management process by creating agile, real-time mechanisms that facilitate a culture of continuous feedback and empowered managers.
  • Champion talent management initiatives that inspire and cultivate employee growth, focusing on talent identification, development, and retention. Spearhead efforts in talent review, succession planning, career pathways, and promoting internal mobility to build a dynamic and empowered workforce.
  • Optimize organizational design for scalability, leading initiatives that ensure our structure and workforce planning are agile and prepared to meet current and future challenges.
  • Develop and implement key People & Culture metrics and analytics dashboards to enable decision-making, regularly delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Utilize engagement data to identify opportunities and design targeted people initiatives, driving strategic action planning within business units.
  • Continuously evolve People & Culture policies to foster a strong organizational culture, embedding values and practices that promote engagement, inclusivity, and employee well-being.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication between employees, management, and executives.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development (L&D), People Operations, and Talent Acquisition to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as a key driver in improving the employee experience, implementing initiatives that foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Support organizational change initiatives with change management principles to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years in an HRBP capacity; SHRM-SCP, SPHR preferred.
  • Proven expertise in organizational design, performance management, and workforce planning, with a strong ability to lead change and scalability initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience in HR metrics, analytics dashboards, and utilizing engagement data for strategic action planning.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of building relationships across all organizational levels and collaborating effectively with L&D, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Solid background in managing complex employee relations issues and implementing change management principles, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive work environment.
