Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• As an RN or LVN MDS Nurseyou will adhere to the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and all federal Medicare & Medicaid regulations
• Establish the schedule for completion of required assessments setting the completion
• Complete all Medicare Prospective Payment System (PPS) Minimum Data Set (MDS) and/or OBRA assessments for both skilled and long-term care
• Collect data for accurate and timely MDS completion and transmission

Requirements:

• Active RN or LVN License with a minimum of two (2) years of MDS experience
• Knowledge of MDS/PPS scheduling, completion, coding, and submission requirements
• Experience in Medicare Reimbursement including CMI and PDPM payment model
• Knowledge of Medicare Part A skilled coverage guidelines and documentation requirements and Medicaid reimbursement & CMS Quality reporting
