Canterbury School is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our dedicated maintenance team. As an HVACTechnician at Canterbury School, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the comfort and safety of our educational environment by ensuring the optimal operation of our commercial HVAC units.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial HVAC Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on a variety ofcommercial HVAC units to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning,lubrication, and calibration of components to prevent breakdowns and ensure energy efficiency.Repair Services: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC system malfunctions and issues promptly,effectively, and efficiently.
Experience and Expertise: Utilize your 3-5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair to provideadvanced mechanical and technical skills for air conditioning systems.
Optional NATE Certification: While not required, NATE Certification is a plus and demonstrates acommitment to excellence in the HVAC field.
Customer Communication: Interact with school staff and faculty in a professional and courteous manner,providing updates on HVAC maintenance and repairs as needed.
Decision Making: Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills when diagnosing and addressing HVACsystem problems.
Self-motivated and Reliable: Demonstrate self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independentlywhile managing your tasks efficiently.
Tool Ownership:Not a must: maintain your own hand tools and power tools necessary for HVAC maintenanceand repairs.
Positive Attitude:Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude when working with colleagues, staff, and facultymembers.
Professional Appearance: Present yourself in a professional manner at all times, adhering to our school'sdress code and .
Clean Background and Driver's License: Possess a clean background and a valid driver's license.Compensation and Benefits:
