The Treasury Analyst will maintain close tabs on current bank activity and assist in vendor maintenance functions. He/she will analyze bank activity to include check & ACH positive pay, work with vendors to update method of payment to an electronic funds transfer method and discontinue the issuance of paper checks. Candidate will assist in the company’s merchant services integration, implement and improve current procedures.

Responsibilities

· Cash Management

· Work closely with A/P to prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms

· Process check requests

· Assist in month-end closing bank reconciliations

· Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and department SOPs.

Qualifications

· 2 years of Treasury experience.

· At least 2 years of college completed with a concentration in Business or Accounting

· Proficient in Excel and Word, Oracle and SAP experience a plus.

· Basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

· Prior experience working with Oracle or similar accounting system.

· Good knowledge of Treasury practices, procedures and regulations governing Treasury best practices.

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Disciplined, organized, and thorough individual who is a self-starter.

· Demonstrated mastery in multiple tasking.

· Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team.
