The Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information; compliance with the Company's annual budget and financial policies; working with a team to support the monthly and quarterly accounting processes for capitated revenue, IBNR, accruals, third-party medical cost; supporting quarterly and annual audit requirements; reviewing and monitoring new contracts; and promoting and maintaining a strong control environment.
· Manage the preparation and review of financial information related to the end-to-end monthly accounting and financial reporting processes for capitated revenue accounting in accordance with GAAP, including third-party medical costs, A/R, MRA, and Incurred but not reported (IBNR) reserves.
· Manage the revenue accounting team including assignment of work and review.
· Maintain a strong focus on a control environment and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
· Responsible for executing and monitoring ongoing control procedures and documentation related to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and for the remediation of control deficiencies, if any.
· Take ownership of control processes and coordinate touchpoints with internal and external audit.
· Process improvement mindset regarding automation, efficiency, system enhancements.
· Review and analyze payor contracts and determine the appropriate accounting treatment under US GAAP.
· Work closely with and coordinates accounting matters with other departments, including the Controllership function, FP&A, Finance
· Support and manage Ad-hoc projects as needed.
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
· 7 years of relevant general accounting and financial reporting experience.
· SOX experience required.
· Experience in a supervisory capacity.
· Public accounting experience or experience in large public company corporate accounting and/or finance departments.
· CPA preferred but not required.
· Experience in Healthcare preferred.
