The Podiatry Assistant will assist with the treatment of athlete's foot, blisters, corn removal, hard skin removal, chilblains, gout, in-growing toenails, verrucas, sweaty feet and arthritis.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct examinations of the foot to provide basis for diagnosis and administered treatment.Review patient and record patient's case history to determine previous ailments and complaints.Perform adequate and appropriate work-up in evaluating potential surgical candidates.Evaluate the foot condition to provide the right Orthopedic inserts.Take and develop x-rays, provide assistance during surgery, prepare patients for exams, make impressions of feet for orthotics and sterilizing instruments.Obtain patient information, gather samples from patients, prepare specimens for testing, record patient vital signs, and set up patient appointments.Depth knowledge to assist the physician administering Podiatry related treatment.Remarkable experience in providing quality patient careTravel to different out reach events as needed with our engagement teamProvide services at any of the Cano Centers agreed uponAdditional Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
