Position Summary: This position is a day-to-day hands-on position responsible for all aspects of the guest services department. Making sure all guests are satisfied with their stay. If you like talking and meeting new people, this job is perfect for you.
Primary Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)Tasks to include but not limited to:Check in and check out, making reservations, guest orientation of hotel and local areas of interest, answering telephone, guest interaction, full understanding and use of property management system, monitoring and maintaining room blocks and related billing. General cleaning of public areas of hotel, restocking pantry, and completing laundry.
Skills and Abilities: Friendly and communicates well with guests.
Physical Ability:Ability to walk, stand, push, pull, bend, reach overhead, kneel, crouch and execute repetitive motions 50% of the scheduled shift.Ability to lift 35 lbs., periodically during the scheduled shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
