You collect, organize, and interpret information with ease and understand the impact your insights have on our business. We are currently seeking to add an experienced Solutions Development Intelligence Analyst to our team. The Solutions Development Intelligence Analyst will help drive the success of all partnering business teams by transforming data into insights that can improve the value each business unit (evaluation of new revenue streams, identify potential areas of loss, etc.) within Workplace and Retirement.

What you will do 

  • Assess market strategies/direction by analyzing data, related products, markets, and trends to inform the WP&R team as to the desirability, feasibility, viability and marketability of new solutions. 
  • Gather business intelligence from a variety of sources including internal and competitive data, industry, field, public, etc. Use business intelligence data and tools to identify application trends (i.e., monitor current and potential customers) and to support any other actionable recommendation.
  • Identify markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analyzing industry level data. 
  • Help develop effective strategies and solutions to improve operations, increase efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
  • Perform extensive research and analyses to streamline operational and technical roadmaps, determine potential gaps/concerns/outcomes (predictive analysis), and develop contingency plans, etc. to align with project/program/product short-term and long-term goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders across CFG and WP&R to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently. 
  • Provide ongoing development and maintenance of an operational data store tied to WP&R new and existing products and solutions using BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, data warehouse and reporting techniques.
  • Under general direction, responsible for converting business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified analyses, reporting and visualizations.
  • Assist with identifying and evaluating new opportunities to understand the business case of potential Pilots/POCs, including initial and predictive ROI analyses. 
  • Continued industry learning through participation in conferences and events.
  • Work closely with the Director and team members of the SD unit to ensure cross-functional training and knowledge. 

What you will have:

  • Working knowledge of financial services industry with particular interest and understanding of advisor, intermediated retirement plans (distribution preferred).

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a business analyst, product developer, market strategist, or something similar, of which a min of 3 years of experience working with Power BI, Tableau, or related experience. 

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

Compensation 

The base annual salary range for this role is $75,000 to $110,000 plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
