Position Summary: 

Pike Electric is seeking a Project Analyst to join their Operations team. The Project Analyst will work closely with Operations to provide support, insight, and guidance as it relates to financial and operational data analysis and reporting. The position offers visibility and interaction with management, including but not limited to Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents in Finance and Operations. The position will require a willingness to learn, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive in a team environment, a propensity to meet deadlines, and the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the Manager of Data Analytics with enhancing and refining the existing reporting portfolio to optimize current reports, decrease information redundancy, and increase efficiency of report delivery
  • Gather, manage, and report on a variety of data populations to assist in preparing and presenting accurate and meaningful findings to multiple groups within the organization
  • Partner with and support the project management team during financial month end close process inclusive of accrual calculations, job costing and budget variance analysis
  • Manage models for reporting operational KPIs and information flow into monthly performance reports
  • Perform frequent ad hoc requests and special projects analyses to support various internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development, analysis, and management of bid pricing and forecasting models
  • Participate in annual budget development process by collaborating with the Finance and Operations teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred
  • Background in financial analysis and forecasting and/or data modeling is desired
  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and accept feedback
