Charlotte OBGYN is a delightfully established practice with deliveries that take place at Atrium Health’s main campus, Carolinas Medical Center, one of Newsweek’s 2022 Best Maternity Hospitals. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a great team of Certified Nurse Midwives.

Practice Information

• Established practice with 6 locations
• 15 Physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers on staff
• 200 monthly deliveries on average at Atrium Health CMC Main

• 1 MD and 1 CNM on call 24/7
• CNM call ratio 1:9; 24-hour calls
• Office setting Mountain Island office w/ call at CMC Main
• Offices also in Arboretum, Huntersville, Morehead, South End, and South Park

Minimum Qualifications

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified
• Minimum 1 year as a CNM or 5 years’ experience in labor and delivery

Education Requirements

• Completion of MSN and graduate level Certified Nurse Midwife Program.
• Certified by American Midwifery Certification Board
