The manufacturing technician reports directly to the Production Manager. There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSUS Citizen or US Green card holder.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSMinimal, occasional carrying/moving/storage of materials and supplies. Employees must comply with all Midé Safety Procedures, wear appropriate PPE when and where required, report Dangerous Situations to Safety Team and occasionally participate in 6S audits. Standing or moving the majority of the day, lift and maneuver heavy components multiple times a day, repetitive motions, operating light machinery is required.
[JL1]Is it unreasonable to ask the Technician to also support the basic upkeep of said equipment (at least for basic things that are beyond what current employees are capable of, but are within his capabilities)? Much of the equipment is aged out there and needs support and/or help selecting new equipment altogether.
