Cancer Specialists of North Florida is recruiting a PRN Radiation Therapist Assistant for our busy Radiation Department. The Radiation Therapist Assistant (RTA) is an entry level position that works under the general supervision of a Radiation Therapy Technologist (RTT) and/or Radiation Manager to apply concepts learned and is provided the opportunity with on-the-job training to gain working experience as a RTT. The primary role of the RTA is to enhance patient care by assisting the RTT with patient assessment, patient treatment and radiation procedures per physician prescription. Maintains patient treatment records, provides support to patients under the standards of the practice and safety principles.
This position requires travel to any CSNF clinic that provides Radiation Therapy to patients and must be available to work a flexible work schedule including early opening and evening hours. Available to work weekend hours as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
