Our company is searching for a talented and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing representative for a woodworking manufacturer. You will be responsible for ensuring our clientele get the deign and purchasing support they need. As our Sales/ Marketing Representative, it is essential to learn both our design and purchasing software's. To be successful in this position, you should be attentive, an active learner/ listener, and one step ahead of daily tasks. Top candidates must be good under pressure, having critical thinking skills, time management, communication skills, and an ability to identify new and current ways to cater to our customers and market our products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Sales:
Onboarding New Clientele:
Being attentive to new client accounts created in our design and purchasing software.
Screening all new client's business information.
Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payment is made and received on time.
General Customer Service:
Resolving any and all customer complaints regarding designs, products, and sales.
follow up on customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
answer customer questions about products, prices, and product availably
Sales Development:
Develop and maintain knowledge of the industry's capability and product offerings.
Communicate with company vendors about new lines of products.
Create projections on popularity of products through sales reports.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for Marketing & Advertising:
Social Media
Creating new and social media accounts on media platforms
Networking with our clientele via social media
Monitoring new and current trends of the industry
Working within the woodworking advertising industry
Monitor and update website, Google Business reviews, LinkedIn and other advertising platforms
Trade Shows
Create and assist designing booth display.
Organize booth placement, payment, badges, and transportation.
Event planning trade show dates and events (IBS, AWFS, IBS, etc)
Booking hotels and flights for team in a timely and organized manner.
Organize booth placement, badges, payment, and shipping information.
Monitoring trade show leads.
Qualifications/ Skills & Abilities:
3-10 years of experience ins sales, woodworking industry is preferred; training on our design and purchasing software's will be provided if needed.
Marketing and social media experience is required.
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to work independently / and be self-motivated reliable, responsible, and on time. (Early is on-time, on-time, late is unacceptable)
A professional and enthusiastic work ethic is a must.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills. (Must Speak English)
Must be able to work with and as an effective part of a team.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands:
Traveling when necessary
Visiting clients/ customers job sites or warehouses
Travelling with team to trade shows in and out- of- sate
Benefits & Compensation:
Minimum 40 hours/week 7:00am -3:30pm
90 day probation before considered for hybrid position
