- Contributes to moderately complex design aspects of a project. Generally independent and collaborative in nature.
- Transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using complex CAD software, with no oversight.
- Prepares various drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, sketches with oversight.
- Applies engineering principles to the design of structures and their components or assemblies with oversight.
- Provides Bills of Materials for structural components
- Provides time estimates for completing their tasks.
- Coordinates and consults with engineers or designers to complete projects.
- Trains drafters and designers in complex CAD skills, standards, and procedures.
- 3 years in Structural Design Role.
- Drafting Certificate or Related Design Degree (BS, BA)
