Job Description

Curiosity Academy is looking for early childhood educators to join our team from preschool to Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.

We believe every child has a natural curiosity and a desire to explore and learn about the world around them and we are looking for individuals who share these same values.

The teacher / assistant teacher is responsible for monitoring children in their assigned class, preparing and teaching the provided curriculum, and working with our team to enhance the nurturing learning environment at Curiosity Academy.

Create, prepare, and facilitate creative learning activities that are fun and educational

Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons and student-led learning, free play, bathroom breaks, lunchtime and rest time for students

Collaborate with teachers and leadership to foster, enhance, and provide a nurturing learning environment

Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with students and parents

Deliver reports on student progress to leadership

Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Be flexible and fill in where needed.
