Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at a Camellia Dermatology. The Medical Assistant will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility. This is a full-time position.

Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and medication prior authorizations
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient care for patients

Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
